Damp bathroom conditions due to lack of exhaust fan!!! Poor cable service on the television left us frustrated . Consider adding additional towel racks for better convenience!!!

Perfect little and well priced hotel located so close to the marina, the casino and back, and restaurants, parks, and stores. Great and comfortable location close to the ferries, well-kept facilities. Comfy bed and neat room. Bright bathroom, very helpful staff.

This motel is a hidden gem! Our room was super clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the ferry. The owners genuinely care, everything is tidy and suggesting local attractions. It's an excellent choice for families looking for affordability and charm.

This hotel offers freshly renovated and updated rooms with the shower, fresh sheets and mini fridge. It has both knowledgeable and excellent staff.

The Wayside Motel impressed me with its cleanliness and comfort. The Queen Room was super clean. Everything felt fresh and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, made for a good night's sleep. I enjoyed sitting outside my door in the peaceful atmosphere. The location is ideal, just a short distance to the ferry for Mackinaw Island . I noticed a musty smell when I first entered the room. Thankfully, turning on the heat cleared that up. One minor annoyance was the lack of towel racks in the bathroom. It would have helped with organization. Offering great tips about the area and helping with any questions I had.

It was nice to enjoy the peaceful area and take a dip in the small pool too. The only downside was the weak Wi-Fi connection, but it didn't take away from my overall experience 😊

Good hotel with free wifi, tv, and friendly staff who helped me with my bags during my first stay. I recommend it for a cozy, laid-back experience! I'll definitely be back for a city break.
